Connect to Moodle and configure settings

Now it is time to connect and login to your Moodlebox website. Open a browser and go to:

http://moodlebox.home

Now click the Log In link in the top right corner.

Now enter the default username and password.

Username: moodlebox
Password: Moodlebox4$

Now that you are logged in, you need to click on the Site Administration link in the Top Bar.

Next click on MoodleBox.

Now you need to click on MoodleBox Dashboard. (DO NOT CLICK MoodleBox Settings).

The top section of the Dashboard gives you some basic information. But the 2 highlighted ones are your main concern.

Scroll further down until you get to the parts shown below.

When you make changes to each sections you need to click Change … for each part separately.

So the first section is MoodleBox password. Please change this as this is the Admin account password and if someone gets ahold of the password, you could potentially locked out. So change this first and then you will need to log in again to access the Site Administration.

After you have changed the password and logged back in, next is the Wi-Fi setting. You only need to change these if you are using 2 Raspberry Pi in one class or you want to add another layer of protection. It is always good policy to change default passwords no matter what!

Click Change wi-Fi setting. You might have to reconnect to the Wi-fi after changing the settings. If so, do it and then you can go to the next part.
